Business Matters: Sarah Kopriva
Meet Sarah Kopriva Owner and hanger-upper extraordinaire R Company Background: Up until I was diagnosed with breast cancer and spent my days as a warrior, I was an administrative assistant. I loved working with the customers and talking to everyone. Back in the day, I worked at Briggs Woods as a clubhouse attendant and the “old” Hy-Vee. Being around people has always been fun for me. Why I do what I do: It was kind of like “why not” due to a complication from breast cancer. I can’t use my arm as much to do typing, writing and other administrative duties. I love seeing people, talking and visiting. I also love a bargain. I want others to be able to purchase quality clothes at prices they can afford and if they can make some “extra cash” by cleaning out their closets — why not? What makes my job unique: I?want to say the customer service! R Company takes your overstuffed closet and turns it into cash. I personally sort through all consignment.
